Hi there! Just got into the Sims again after a few months... I came here looking for other Sims fans, so if any problems turn up with the game (as they have in the past) I could have someone to ask. Oh, and I'm one of those people who spends hours building huge things, then gets irritated when my computer lags.
I'm waiting on my new processor before I try some of my larger lots. Right now they're so slow it's like watching paint dry. Not so fun. If you have all the EPs you need approximately twice as much CPU power as if you just have the base game. My computer's a little below what's needed and I can really tell. I'm upgrading to a better class of chip, plus a faster one, so I'm hoping for a real improvement. Something you might want to consider if you'd like to keep making big lots. Or, you could learn that small can be beautiful.
