downloads broken post nightlife I just installed Night Life. When I went into my beloved simmies' homes...things weren't quite right. My pale sims had pale faces and normal peach bodies. My green, purple, and blue alien sims had colored faces and peach bodies also. When I send them to the mirror, they have peach faces and colored bodies. Next I noticed that although all but one of my sims' hairstyles and faces stayed as they were while playing them... NONE of my downloads of hair, makeup etc. were in the mirror menus. Not even the stuff I downloaded forom the Maxis site. Next my child sim aged and his awesome cuteness dissolved into boring maxis boys hair. I've been using this stuff for ages. I'm rather attached to some of it. I figured I might lose some things...but all? I do see most of my furniture. P.S.: Yes, at the beginning of the game, I tell it to enable custom content. Can anyone help me?
Once you enable custom content after installing a new expansion you actually have to exit the game again and restart it for it to truely take effect. Then go back into your game and see if that helps. Also, do you have the lastest version of the CEP? Or the patch for nightlife?
I've turned the game on and off repeatedly. I've rebooted the computer. I've installed the patch. I downloaded the CEP this year. Don't know if thats the latest, however it does read : THE CEP HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CLOTHINGS, SKINS, HAIR, ACCESSORIES AND SUCH. IT AFFECTS ONLY *MAXIS OBJECTS* I tried anyways. I followed your link.. the link was broken. I even tried to reach it by "save target as" sigh thank you though!
