Cant build homes..... HELP ME!

Hi buddies, i have a problem regarding the build section available in the sims 2. I have recently installed the sims 2 and i am not able to build walls nor i am able to decorate the houses with wallapapers and paints... Can any one help me out? Please tell me how to do it.. I think there is a bug in my game are there any patches available to fix this specific problem?

yes unfortunatly I have the same problem, and my game is a copy. Whats the deal? I cant even build a simple wall :(

 

That's because what you have is an illegal copy. Maxis deliberatly disabled the build mode for that reason; to prevent piracy. It will do the same if you try to play the game without the CD in the drive as well. The only option is to buy a legal copy of the Sims2 like the rest of us. I am also closing this thread now to prevent further discussion of illegal activity.

mudassary3k if by chance you have a legal copy and it's some other issue please start a new thread and make sure to mention it's a legal copy and we'll assist you. If it's a copy then the same goes for you.
