How Do I Make Items Appear In My Game?

Hi,
I've installed them in the right place, in my documents in the EA Games file under The Sims 2 Downloads. The problem? Nothing is appearing in my game. I have CEP installed so I don't know whats happening. I would REALLY appreciate some help.

Did you download the meshes? You need to include the meshes or the game won't know what to do with your downloads.

 

Meshes Are All There

I've downloaded all the meshes for everything. There is no real reason they should not be in my game. :(

 

Have you enbled custom content? The TS2 expansions have a really nasty habit of disabling it.

Right now, all I have installed is the first TS2. I have the button in the options so it says "catalogs display custom content", but they don't. Thanks for the suggestion, anyway.

 

You're probably doing the same thing I did. I went from TS2 Icon to Properties, then Find Target and then I made a folder there. But that didn't work!
Go to Start>My Documents>EA Games>The Sims 2> Now create a Downloads folder and put them all in there.

 

I've been doing that all along.

That's where I've been putting my downloads all along and nothing works. Thanks anyway.
