MySpace substitution... Hi I'm here because I was forced to give up MySpace for Lent and I have nothing else to do , found this website by accident when looking to see if I could cure my sister's Sim that got a "mystery illness" from the medicine station? If anyone knows that would also help because my sister doesn't know how to use the internet so she asked me to try and find out Also everyone should totally read my MySpace blog because, you know, it would make me feel popular if I got to 10,000 blog views this month... www.myspace.com/robertatherockrulesok Thank you for reading this as I'm sure you did not find it interesting x x x PS If you are going to reply to this please use correct spelling and grammar... I get very upset when I see bad spelling :(
er...Hi, Gail. I'm almost afraid to speak, but Welcome. Take a look around the forums and try out the search function.
Preferred Nickname/Name Is it important? Favorite Book The Virgin Suicides Favorite Movie Anything really! Favorite Actor/Actress Hugh Grant, he's such a hilariously bad actor and makes films that make me feel proud to be from England! Favorite Game The Sims obviously... Favorite TV/Movie I am addicted to TV; I think most of the people here are American but if you have Deal or No Deal in America... this is the best TV show ever, but it can't possibly be as good there as it won't be presented by Noel Edmunds. I also like Lost and Desperate Housewives and also Skins and anything that reminds me of my own life. Nobody is reading this are they? Oh well it is occupying my time. Favorite Colour Red. Favorite Sport I don't think I'm allowed to swear? Favorite Dessert I am not big on dessert... more like another cheeseburger Something interesting about yourself There is nothing remotely interesting about me, I should be sent to a home for boring people. Well, there are some stuff that is interesting about me, but I will not post them for fear of offending people. In case you care about any of that! And it took up some time
Hi Gail, welcome to WorldSims. There are regulars here from all over the globe, and as my profile says, I'm in the UK. I watched Deal or No Deal once and that was probably the longest 30 minutes of TV ever. Noel made a 5 minute game last an entire 30 minutes (minus adverts of course). I wanted to speed the game along because it was like watching paint dry. However, I do watch LOST and am a crazy nutcase fan. I just can't get enough of it! As for your question about the mystery illness, I recommend using the search function at the top of the page. I could tell you the answer if you're really stuck, but thought it would be fun for you to find your way around the forum.
Welcome to you, Gail. My spelling is appalling, but my grandma is perfect. I like your signature and I hope you don't mind my terrible typos that result from having three left thumbs and two right pinkies and a drunken phat controller ... that's my excuse and I stick by it. Have to really, cos I sat on it and someone had left their super glue there. I can tell you that they're gonna cop for my wrath when find out where they've gone. You would've thought it nigh on impossible but I've managed to ramble on for a dog's age, trying hard to impress you enough to post again. I have weigh two mutch thyme on my hands, knees and bumps-a-daisy.
Normally strangers are never this nice to me, or use such impeccable grammar. It's nice to know that there are true good people in the world. Like today, me and my friend found 40 left in a cash machine, and took it into the bank! Even the staff thought we were mentalists, but at least we knew we were Decent People. Anyway, I'm going off topic. Yes Lost is very good and the person who said they liked it had Sawyer as their display picture; this is a good move because Sawyer is my favourite character. Desperate Housewives is on tonight as you should know because you are from England, and that is where the sane people are. Are you watching Lost on Sky One? I am but I am the only person I know who is. Going off topic again. But the nice lady asked me to post so what can I do really? Anyway yes this is a Sims forum and I do like the Sims a lot, however I do not like how addictive it is, because of a combination of the Sims and MySpace I nearly failed my GCSE's so I have been trying to avoid it recently as I am taking AS Levels soon... however reading all the posts in here has made me want to use it again :O x x x
Frankly, Gail, it looks to me like you'll fit right in. Your thoughtful answer to #8 has won me over right off the bat. (And I hate to admit this, but it's my daughter who is the Hendrix fan. The rear bumper of my car also talks about kissing the sky. Few people seem to know the source of the lyric, but I've always felt a certain empathy with the idea. It's on my todo list.)
I've never watched Desperate Housewives but yes, I have started watching LOST again as Season 3 has resumed on Sky One. I watched it on Sunday and I believe that the Wednesday showing is a re-run of the previous Sunday's episode. Lyk, zomg!!!1one1one11eleven omg! Sorry, just had to get that outta my system. Omitting my yeps and yups and hehehe and lol has taken its toll. Waahh!
I watched it on Sunday too but I like to watch it twice... on Sunday I was doing algebraic long division at the same time! Do you know if Charlie is actually going to die????? I well hope he doesn't! I love Charlie! And did Desmond have a flashback or did he actually go back in time? What I mean, was it like he had always been able to see the future so just had a flashback of when he found out about it, or did he go back in time and actually remember what happened on the island? Cos that confused me. Almost as much as the structure of that previous sentence. I still don't think it's as good as it used to be though x x x
I was kinda confused too in that episode - all the more reason to keep replaying it (for clarification of course ) as I recorded it on Sky Plus, much to the annoyance of my fiance. I'm not sure if the other LOST fans at WorldSims have seen that episode so I don't want to discuss it too much, well, not without a spoiler warning. You said you don't think it's as good as it used to be - I think the opposite! I LOVE the storylines every time I watch and I think the writers are amazing! I wish that the episodes would show some of the other characters a bit more though, like Jin/ Sun/ Hurley/ Sayid/ Locke etc, but who can complain about the amount of Sawyer that we've seen lately?
