I've hardly had time to play since loading the EP, but today I was remembering something about Sims 1...the adults would hold the baby and rock it to sleep, humming a lullaby. Am I remembering that right? I'm pretty sure. I always thought it such a cute scene in the game. I wish they could do that in Sims 2. There's cuddle, but no singing. :(

Unless Seasons added something I don't know about.

Nope, but I did have a bit of a baby nightmare ... every time I put my latest babies in the crib they cry their little heads off. They did sleep a little but mostly they screamed. Bottle, bath, cuddle, diaper, no help. They were in the green but screaming. However, when I put them on the kitchen floor they were perfectly happy. Or if a parent was holding them, but you know sims. They can't do that for long or their own needs go down.

I ended up having them sleep in the greenhouse, on the grass. Good thing that doesn't count as child abuse.

I was just about ready to cry. These are my first babies since Seasons (two in the same household). I'm going to try another household and see if I have the same problem.

If so, there may be a crib glitch, and a lot of infants will be on the floor in my town.

There's only so much screaming I can take. :(

    Anyone else have this problem?

I do! I thought it was just me. I found that if I have my sims play with their babies for a long time that seems to help...or maybe it just wears them out till their too tired...either way they stopped crying!

I did have one baby that grew up in the middle of the crying fits and when I looked at him as soon as he turned into a toddler his fun need was all the way in the red.

I made the mistake of trying out Seasons with the house of the quadruplet toddlers. It was a pain. There was an odd thing that happened where the three adults were giving the toddlers way too many bottles when they weren't even hungry. I'm not sure if it's a mod conflict or what.

At least the toddlers' older brother got to play in the snow. :)

Ive had seen the penguin during every season, including now, which is "summer" and the penguin once again entered my home, and started talking to the "fish" I placed as a painting on my wall. Here's a screenshot I thought I share :D

Awww, the penguin is so cute!!
Does he just randomly come around no matter what or do you have to do certain things (like put fish on the wall and stuff?)
I so wish I could get this EP sooner than I will be...

The penguin visited the house I was playing last night and was admiring the little boy's snowman. He didn't stay very long though.

The penguin will appear in your lot when you have a snowman at your yard/garden, and by far I noticed the penguin came to my house during all seasons. By far Ive seen the penguin talk to my snowman's, talk to the fish on the wall (like the screenshot I posted) and dance in front of my fireplace which was lit :D

Ill try to get a screenshot of him dancing in front of the fireplace if it happens again :D

I must have a bug or something because he came after a huge winter storm and he is at the edge of the lot and just keeps walking as if hes gonna leave...but he doesnt...

Probably its a bug, by far I hadnt have that although the penguin loves coming over to my place lol

And I took a screenshot which I thought was cute, my sim gotten the "wishing well" from the garden club and wished for money, when a huge bag of money dropped in front of her :D

Oh, and I have a question! Have any of you tried the "leftovers" interaction? My sim is able to put them in the fridge, but when I select the firdge to get them back, I dont have any selection related to leftovers :( Have any of you tried and have no problems with it?

I'd suggest using moveobjects on and deleteing the little guy, it won't hurt him.

It works great for me. I have the option to "get leftovers" I have my sims make a meal when they have spare time and then put the plates away individually, saves quite a bit of time later. Of course before I just used the inventory for this same purpose but this saves me from pausing the game.

My "leftovers" probably isnt working because Im using the "permafridge" hack. I hope thats not the case though because I adore that hack :(

And to get the wishing well, you have to join the "garden club". Just pick up the phone and select "Services" and then "Garden club". They will send a man over, just say hello and chat, and select to ask to join the garden club membership.

You need to have a well kept garden because they will inspect your garden, meaning no dead plants, no bugs, and DO NOT do this during "fall" because if you dont rake all the leaves and throw/burn them away, they would consider that bad lol.

After you get the membership, then expand your garden to be bigger, and invite the guy over again and ask him to inspect your garden. If your garden is good (once again based on what I said above) they will give you money and the wishing well. It will appear automaticly in your garden :D

That can happen. Try boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true and shift click the offending sims/object and choose "force error" >> Delete

    That'll fix it!

Don't forget: boolProp testingCheatsEnabled flase afterward ...
