Problem: Game won't install or load up When I click on the icon to bring up the game, one of those alert boxes with the red ball and white x in the middle comes up. It just says 'The Sims 2' and doesn't even present an error message. How can I fix this so I can play the game?
Can you please post a few system specs or the hardware dump from EAsyInfo? EAsyInfo should be located somewhere on the TS2 disc, it's included as standard for the majority of Electronic Arts games. What media are you using? DVD? CD? Does your computer meet the system requirements?
