Sims Objects That Have Been Downloaded

Where do objects I've placed in the downloads folder on the sims appear in the game? Is it in the buy mode? I can't find mine.

 

Objects appear in the buy mode catalog ... so long as you also have the mesh for the object (or the required expansion pack). Most objects also require the CEP. Consult the site you got the stuff from if you can't find it.

 

They are in Buy mode, unless you downloaded clothes, then you have to go to a store and then buy them there.

Also, you must have enabled custom content in game options or you won't see them.
