SIMGAMES HAS BEEN RIPPED OFF!

Aaron, your doing nothing but making yourself look like a total idiot. Josh and Karl are doing nothing but defending SimGames, and laying out the facts. Karl's last post basically just screwed your side of the arguement over.

 

Investigation into the person who calls himself "Aaron Bennett"

It's true, Aaron's been ripping off MGSN for years, I should know, I used to work for him and used to know him personally in real life.

He now calls himself Aaron Bennett, but in the past has changed his name a few times because of his shady past...I won't go into this but trust me, do not host with this guy, especially if you are a young child.

What I do have evidence on is some rather strange stories he tells…

Before we start I'll give you a little background knowledge.

I knew Aaron a while ago and he would often tell me a lot of stories. Like the one where he had cancer. Then the next week it had been cured.

He would often have friends who would suddenly die. He would post up pictures of them on his blog, and then the next week they were "dead" and he would create tribute pages for them. His friends and family would often be involved in horrific accidents. I did feel sorry for him, but I became suspicious when it happened too often, and the stories got weirder and weirder.

Another time we both used to post on a forum for a club we were involved in, and one day what appeared to be his carer at the time, registered and posted.

Now Aaron has a very distinctive posting style, due to his dyslexia.

His carer posted very similarly to him, as there was the same tell tale spelling mistakes, the big LOL'S, the same signature (name in bold, job title, website), and it also turned out this person had registered with Aarons email address…strange. I didn’t take any notice at the time.

But recently I spotted the same thing...

Remember Alec Mackenzie? Well I've looked at his posts on the simgames forum and they seem strangely he same. Same tell tale spelling mistakes, the big LOL'S, the same signature (name in bold, job title, website).

Now again, this could be a silly mistake. But then Aaron goes on to say…

So he died AFTER Aaron made the announcement?

Also didn’t Alec live in America? Then what was he doing in Aarons care home?…

But again, it gets even weirder...

The tributes are all from fictional characters from a fictional place

The fictional place is “Stowey House”

Lets take a look at the names...

This place and people are mostly from the fictional book and television programme Tracy Beaker. Which coincedently is one of Aaron's favourite stories.

In conclusion to this investigation I think Aaron isn't very well and needs to be taken off of the internet immediately as he is a danger to himself and to other people he may be in contact with, particularly through his hosting.

Why did I just waste my time compiling all of this evidence you ask?

Because he needs help. One day he will get into a lot of trouble as a consequence of the stories he tells and his actions.

I knew it. He told me his mother was killed in the London Transit bombings last summer. What a load of shit. I want to see "Aaron" back this up.

I have worked with Aaron for just coming onto a year now. I do agree there can be times when he makes things a little suspicious, but to me, he seems like a great guy. I don't think he means to "steal" this sites content. I have personally compared the two sites and yes, i have seen similarities mentioned here. I addressed him on the issue he says you are copying him. I am not going to assume you are copying him or he is copying you. In my opinion, I think you should be happy if he does copy you. The only reason he would want to copy you is because he likes how your site is designed. You may not like being copied, i know i wouldn't, but i'm sure if you just emailed him he would be happy to redo his layout. He has informed me that Maxisgamer started a few years prior to SimGames. Whether or not you want him using a design similar to yours, that is up to you. If you want to be angry with him, that is your perogative, but I feel that there is no need to put down him, and he has no right to put down you. I hope the best for both MaxisGamer as well as SimGames, i know it can be complicating to be a webhost, i know because I am also the owner of a webhost company. I do honestly hope everything works out for everyone

As a staff member at an HSP, I can tell you that H-Sphere and InterWorx and Plesk are much better control panel choices. I read your site sometimes. cPanel servers are prone to random and inconsistent breakage, and your new posts confirm it happens frequently for you and has been happening frequently since you started using cPanel. You reference ancient problems that haven't affected us in years.

We've been playing this game with you because it amuses us and you seem to be willing to play. This is not the first time you have been warned about many of these issues and you continue to behave in the same way. You're not worth the aggravation of dealing with directly since your site doesn't actually pose any threat of competition with us and this server basically pays for itself anyway.

Oh, and if you want to count past related sites, the framework for SimGames.net was started as SimCenter. You have to count that, which started around the same time as NoZone, itself, in 1997 and was offering the same type of service SimGames.net is now... free hosting.
