restarts when i try and make a family when i go to hair bit i restarts and it is new whats the problem i what to make me :(
There are quite a number of reasons why that might happen. Sometimes it's from having a game that you're trying to push on a minimal computer. So, listing your computer specs would be the first thing to do so that we could help you. (If a computer only "meets" the requirements, then it may be overwhelmed if you have custom content, have set the graphics and/or performance settings so that it looks better, etc.) Another thing that could be causing problems is custom content. Sometimes you may have something that just doesn't work well with a particular EP or at all. It may be corrupted (so that it used to work but ceases). Viruses on your computer or even spyware can sometimes cause a computer to decide to restart. Having other things (like a browser, virus protection system, connection to the internet) in the background (not even running) can cause the computer to be overwhelmed when going to something computer intensive such as the "make a family" screen. There are also other things which can cause this (such as computer overheating). Actually, if you want the best chance of making a Sim-me of yourself, you'd be better off using BodyShop instead of the "Create a family". If you have the Pets EP, make sure that you have the game patch from the official site so that your Sim-me doesn't revert to "Maxis default" when you put it into the game.
