Expansion Question I decided that it is finally time to get myself an expansion pack for The Sims 2. I know, I'm a slowpoke when it comes to these things. Right now I'm torn between University and Nightlife but I'm not sure yet. I might get a different one, I might not. So my question is, Which would you suggest or not suggest? If you could, I'd also like to know why you like or don't like the pack. Thanks for your time. :]
we have quite a few of these type of threads, in fact there's one maybe seven or eight posts down. Oh well. Anyway, IMHO, Nightlife, by far. No contest. Vampires, The whole downtown shebang, dating :couple: , let's see, more townies (if thats good), new clothes and hair, more objects of course. University has the whole "college" deal going on, but theres not that many new features, besides college, and new hair, clothes, and objects. I also highly reccomend Seasons. And Open for Business if you want a challenge. Now that I think about it I like em all. Exept Pets. I want my money back.
I've heard that University isn't worth it, and that Nightlife is awesome. I personally only have the Pets EP, I really like it (but I'm a major pet lover myself). I hope to get Seasons next! So even though I don't have any except Pets, from what I've heard I would say go with Nightlife (which in that EP you also get your own cars on residential lots!) or Seasons.
Nightlife does add more game play, but University adds more want slots and more careers which is nice. Honestly I would make the decision this way; are you planning on buying the rest of the expansions at some point? If so, then go with University first as it was the first expansion pack. I would buy them in the order they were released, even though they say you can install these in any order. Some people have had problems installing out of order.
