Question about downloads.. I recently purchased the Sims 2. I download a bunch of files for the game. A couple of weeks ago, I purchased Sims Pets and University. When I installed the games, I noticed that the objects I download for Sims 2 originally, are not showing up in the buy mode. Is there a way to make those objects appear again or do I have to re download everything?
Is there a way to do that all at once? Because everytime I start the Sims, it gives me a list of all of the files I downloaded and asks me if I want to enable each file, but I have to restart the game to enable each file. Very time consuming. :(
I also get warning screen for custom content now that I have added some things. Everything I have added came directly from the Maxis Sims 2 site. For me, warning applies to all added items at once, not individually. So, seeing this warning at each game start is normal?
It enables all files at once not per item, but yes you need to restart the game for it to take effect. However, it will remember that you chose to have them enabled and it will just be a formality from then on, in case you change your mind and want to run a 'clean' game without the downloads. This is a normal part of the game. I have noticed quite a few blue objects though even after enabling them. Unfortunately with each new expansion this will happen until people can update their objects. I'm not sure why this effects some objects and not others. :ermm:
