using other cd's i have looked everywhere for this and i can't find an answer, when you download a new sims 2 game and your game only works for the new cd, is there a way to change it to another cd?
No. When you install (not download ... you do that from the internet and you can't download The Sims 2 legally) a new expansion pack you need that new disc to start the game from then on. All the features of the previous expansions are still available to you, but you knew that already. I bet you also know what I'm thinking, now, eh?
