    Two questions

1- If, a player creates an entire Neighborhood, while playing with one family, the others (NPCs), do they age or not ? I never played TS2 as long as TS1, so I still have doubts about the game. And if you go to college as a teen, when you return home, you're already an adult, and I played through this, but never saw again my "college buddies" 'cause I didn't played long enough after graduation. So, when/if I had seen them, would they have aged too ? And what about the neighboors and the family in the house (My teen didn't had any family, so I don't know if they would be old folks or not) ?

2- Now, if you turn "aging off", and a Sim gets pregnant, will this pregnancy last forever if you don't turn on the aging process ? And after the child is born, if the aging is off, does he age from newborn to baby ? How long does it take for a newborn to become a baby ?

    1) Aging is not synchronised between lots. Pescado's synchtimer mod will keep accurate track of time allowing you to play a group of families and keep them in perfect synch with each other. It is safe for use with Seasons but it does not synch seasons so for perfect snch you need to install the timer in each brand new home immediately (or use aging off and play them to season that matches the existing installed families and use the synchtimer's Time Warp facility to change the day of the week. (I've had to do this in Penn Vale  ... I have done a lot of bad things in Penn Vale including perfoming plastic surgery on some of the fuglier townies and punishing others for audacity in autonomous behaviour. For example:

Kenney Cox decides to help himself to Jensen Vorderman's Stuffed Golden Trout while his is trying to woo Roxie Dent at the Frying Fish. He's sorree, now ;) ....

... but NPCs and townies never age. One way around this is to create new sims from time to play long enough to marry an NPC to take them out of the game and force the generation of new ones. So you don't end up with maids who have memories of meeting umpteen generations of the same family.

    2) Aging off does what it says on the label. babies never age, belly-bumps never change

Thanks !!! But how long does it take to a child to born, and how long for a newborn to become a baby ? I use the aging code a lot, so I don't even have a clue about how longer these last.

Here's a new one, with seasons, when you start a "new game" (new family in a lot), the first season has one day left instead of five. Since we can't count with SimPE for seasons yet, is there anyway to make the 1st season have the default number of days left ? Or even configure each season to last more than five days ?

Another, I saw trees getting hit by lightining and being set on fire. So, does this mean the tree is harmed or dead ? Is there anyway to prevent trees, sims, etc..., to get hit by lightining in the lots ?

    See ya !!!

Nope, I'm wrong again. Aging off does not stop a pregnancy proceeding normally.

Pregnancy last exactly 75 sim hours with bump changes at 24 & 48 hours. The number of babies to be born is set at "conception", the gender and personality (and the DNA ... I think) is not fixed until the game-controls grey out during the birth stage.

Lightning doesn't kill trees, the fires go out (apparently) not had it happen myself.

You can set the seasons in the neighborhood. So if you choose the frust season as Spring you will load a game that begins in the last day of Winter. This means you have the maximum amount of spring.

Thanks again !!! And a newborn to a baby lasts for what ? 3 days then ?

Remember when you talked about the .reia files ? When you enter a hood, it does a, I don't know how to call it, but like a camera trip over the scenario, but this only happens when the game is hacked into English UK, hehehe. Is there a trick here for other languages ?

And is there a way to make that with new hoods in the "choose a neighborhood to play" screen ? Only the default hoods have motion in their thumbnails.

About the "teenager living alone" thing, well then, we got live with it :), hehe !!!

    See ya !!!
