cheats 'lo, i am looking for a hunk of cheats, ones that aren't included in the usual list of the sims cheats - i heard of 'mother cheats' - could anyone explain and give me some 'mother cheats'? thanks!
i don't know what your on about with the 'mother cheats' but when you do crtl shift and c then type in help and it should extend the cheat list i don't know if you know about that plemzi
All the proper cheats are displayed by typing help in the cheat console. However the cheat console can also be used for entering a range of other commands which change the fundamental properties of the game. There is a large set of boolean properties (true/false or on/off) which are accessed by the boolProp command. Typically boolProp is followed by an 'argument' and must be set by a valid value. There are many boolProp arguments, which can be used to perform things that cannot otherwise be done with the normal game controls. The most powerful of these is the debugging tool, the testing cheats, but there are many to allow otherwise forbidden object placements and many more besides. testingCheatsEnabled allow45degreeAngleofRotation snapObjectsToGrid true constrainFloorElevation These are all set by true or false There are other command lines which can be used. One commonly used one is the Intetger Properties set: intProp intProp is set by intProp [argument] [value=an integer number, typically limited to a fixed range] The most commonly used intProp cheat is the one that alters the number of sims that can visit. intProp maxNumOfVisitingSims [number] NOTE The cheats are not case sensitive. boolprop works as well as boolProp, BOOLPROP or BoOlpRoP. Helpful sites that list cheats typically give them out with capitals at the start of english works that are embedded to make them easier to read. It is easier to check that the 'words' in maxNumOfVisitingSims are all spelled properly when the words are high-lighted with capital first letters. Compare it with maxnunofvisitingsims how fast did you see the error?
