sim won't move I'm playing the Sims 2 Pets for PC and it usually works fine, and it was working fine until yesterday when I was playing a 2 Sim household and one of them just stopped doing what I told him to. He stood in one place (he wasn't standing perfectly still, he would cross his arms or shift legs, etc.) and didn't do anything I commanded him to. The other Sim was working fine, and nothing else was frozen up. Just that one Sim. I ignored it and made a new house with just one Sim and a dog, and again it worked fine for an hour or so and the same thing happened with her. She got out of her shower and I told her to get in her car, and she just stood outside her shower. I didn't save the game, and the last time I saved it was before she got stuck. Does anyone know how I can fix the first Sim this happened to, and prevent it from happening again? What's wrong with my game?
Sometimes Sims just get stuck. If the time meter is running, then the game is fine except for the stuck Sim. This can be handled fairly easily, fortunately. Open the cheat box (crtl shift C) and type in moveobjects on. Then go to the buy/build section, click on the stuck Sim and delete them. Then go to the cheat box and type in moveobjects off. Exit to the neighborhood (saving before you do so), then go back into your house. Your Sim should be back standing by the Mailbox as if nothing were really wrong.
