Erm, no. Best advice I can give you is to (a) gather up the disc you have with the registration codes (as proof that you do own the games) and then consult the lost disc/registration code replacment procedure for your country. This can take a few weeks and costs a few bucks per replacement disc. See the FAQs for more info. (Link's in my signature)

Plan (b) calls for throwing mom away, but that might make her a tad crabby and apt to carry out random acts of vandalism (such cleaning your bedroom with Lawn Mower)

Plan (c) would be to explain to mom what she did wasn't great but that you accept the blame for leaving stuff all over ... and could she please recognise your honesty and generosity with a big wedge of wonga so you can go out and buy new games :) (I don't hold out much hope for plan (c) )

NOTE I accept no responsibility for plan (b). If you end up living under a tree with a racoon, a harmonic and styrofoam cup for tips ... well, you'll only have yourself to blame. My mom was always throwing my stuff away when I was a kid. I get my own back now, cos she's over 80 and ... er, hang on ... everytime she visits she finds things I haven't used for ten minutes and piles them on the dining table and insists I throw them out or something ... I just push them back into a cupboard when she's not looking. Being a grown up really rocks :D

Yes there IS a way..and it's even legal:
You got to think outside the box ;):
buy and install Seasons, then that will be your Play-Disc (and that solution will work until you try a complete Re-Install, which isn't possible without a full set of discs as you know.

Then I would come up with some strategy to keep your mom from tossing your most priced posessions :D (did you consider it might have been some kind of punishments ??).
As well I would put in effect a working backup strategy, since you can't re-install Sims 2 from scratch

Way to go le! I like that sort of thinking. Now I'm feeling slightly mad that I didn't think of it myself.
