Library Feature Requests? I'd just like ot know if there are any feature requests for the Library. After we enter Beta 3, we're are closing the feature development until the next version .
Is it possible for the title of a draft that I've uploaded but not published yet to be invisible until I've published it? Currently, even though the draft itself is not visible, the title is, which will get the reader an error message. I've been avoiding using the draft function, but did use it this morning. SBW saw the title, tried to read the chapter and got the error message. Also, I know the question here is about features, but based on SBW's previous viewer count for her stories, I would have thought there would be a great many more views of Veronaville than there are now. Just wondering how we could get more attention for the Library from members who don't come by here as often as some of us. (If my viewer count looks high it's because I view my own stuff obsessively.) p.s. I know I've got a one-track mind and that people really DO come to Worldsims for other reasons. Like for help with the game, hints, and such.
You mean, of the Draft issue? OK, do the following: Log out and come back as a visitor/lurker/someone considering membership but undecided... Go to the library, the main page. Next to the name of Lynet you will see Chapter 19: DRAFT. Click on it. The message is that no story is specified. Notify Administrator, etc., etc. I was just wondering if the title of the draft can be hidden. Even to me, maybe. So that I can only get it by going into the list of My Stuff. Not a programmer, myself, so I don't know what the problems/issues might be.
Chapter 19 is no longer a draft. I published it. Actually, it has a real title, too, but still says DRAFT on the main library page. I expect that will go away when I put up the next chapter, or when Chee-Z puts up another chapter.
1) A minor request concerning the forums page, actually. I notice that The Sims 2 Bug Tracker heading has a description of its purpose right here on the main index. Maybe we should have a description under the Sims 2 Library, something about it being THE best place to go for Sim Stories...and that comments are always welcome. 2) Also, a paragraph or two of instructions for first time story-tellers. The library is a little different from the forums. Each story chapter is a new thread. And a new author needs to set up a sub-catergory for the story. None of us posting in there now knew to do that when we first started. It's a little confusing until you get the hang of it. Thanks Now that Michelle has started a story, too, there's a lot more to do in the Library. I went in for a visit a couple of days ago and found I had to catch up on everybody's stories. Wow! It was great. I'm hoping for more authors soon.

I've been plugging us on other sites, such as the Laden Swallow. But yeah, a little plug on this site would be faboo. Authors crave feedback, BTW, so please if you like something, say so! We're doing this for free, so feedback is our only pay.
