If I've understood correctly, your sim has to have a want to see aliens for them to come (if they don't then the chance for the aliens to come is very low). Then you look through the telescope (I don't know if it has to be night or not for it to work) and the aliens come and abuduct your sim. If your sim is a man, then he will come back pregnant with an alien. This is the only way to get aliens if you don't have a hack downloaded to make them come, I'm afraid. :depressed: I think there's a family with 3 brothers in Strangetown and one of them is pregnant with an alien and one of them have the alien want. It was a long time I played on Strangetown, so I can't remember what the brothers are called. Just have a look around in Strangetown and you'll find them! :winks: Hope this helped.
The preferred telescope is the expensive one. Also, abduction is very rare, unless you are playing the Curious brothers who get abducted regularly. If you have Uni and the Fiesta campas, you might try moving the alien college student (Stella?) into a dorm, or your neighborhood. The chances of abduction might increase. So I've heard tell. Haven't tried it myself yet.

Yeah, Stella's the one. I had her move into Strangetown, where she got married to the alien Johnny - I think he's called that anyway - and they have a nice big family now with lots of freakish alien kids. :biggrin:
I don't think a sim has to have a want to see aliens for them to come. If that was true, then there would never be bad memories of having met aliens, and only Knowledge sims would get abducted, and I know that's not true.
Yeah, any sim can get abducted whether they want to see aliens or not. And I'm curious to know why your alien child couldn't have kids of their own too, Odinmoon. No adult sims are sterile, all can have kids. Cass.
My alien kids have always been able to have babies (and I've had a lotof alien kids :biggrins. I find it really strange that yours couldn't, Odin. Just for the record, I'm curious why your alien couldn't have babies as well.
Maybe there were too many people in the household already. And sometimes you have to Try for Baby several times.
Ah, it's too late to go back and edit this typo.. essimist: How annoying..! but you all get what I meant anyways. That's true. Maybe Odin just didn't try hard enough for the baby? Well, I'm sure it will all get sorted in the end.
I have no idea. I kept getting them to try. But nothing happened. Then they started getting to-wards old age. So in desperation I had to adopt. lol Funny thing was there were only two members in that household. Maybe the male was sterile.
