Splash screen, then Error When launching the game, it displays the splash screen, then goes away, then the pop up window appears that says the Sims 2 has encountered an error and needs to close. Processor 1.4 Athlon Memory 512mb Video Card GeForce 3 Driver Date: 10-22-06 Driver Version: 6.14.10.9371 DX Version: 9.0c Any ideas..I've tried Windows 98/ME compatibility mode, but no difference. Problem sorted After reading through several other posts, I ran across one that mentioned a conflict with Alcohol 120%. This program was installed on the computer, so I uninstalled it and the game then ran fine
Now here is a person that searched the forum. Good on you. And glad you fixed the problem. I have done the same lol. Asked a question without searching Now after a few slaps on the wrist, ouch. I search first. LOL regards Moon
