    My Sim Won't Sleep!

I'm having this problem that i can't seem to figure out...its not a technical problem i don't think but after my sim had WooHoo haha, she won't go to sleep..she'll get in the bed and there is a bubble with something i can't make out and an X over it and she'll get out of bed again..

does anyone know what's going on and how i can fix it?

    thanks in advance!

It might be a glitch with the bed. You might have to delete the bed and buy a new one. If you can't delete bed then there is a fix. Try deleteing the bed first then post back if you can't. Or sometimes if sims are in a real bad mood they wake up alot. so you have to repeatedly put them back to bed. But only if there energy bar is red.

If you can't delete the bed like Odin said, then you can try to delete it with the moveObjects on cheat. If that doesn't work... then I'm scared. :wideeyed:
    :ducks::silly:

edit: Are you sure that your sim needs to sleep because sometimes after your sims have whoo-hooed and they're not sleepy, then they'll get out of bed and go do something else... This could be your problem.

    Hello

That has happened to me aswell.
I noticed that if a TV,Radio or something that is distracting is left on in the bedroom or wherever you sim sleeps will make them wake up..just as a crying baby would.
It could be a glitch but it could also be what i said above.

    Hope it helps

You are exactly right, Babyace. There are a number of things that will keep a sim from sleeping that aren't glitches. Phones ringing, babies crying, TV left on, radio left on. Doorbells will wake them up.

And it's also very hard to see what that red X in the thought bubble is covering up, unless you've got a microscope handy.

Don't you wish sims could just speak a language we could understand, and TELL us what the problem is?

Thats why I have walls and doors to each bedroom. I never have a phone,tv,radio in bedrooms. Do this and your sims will sleep well.
    regards moon :cloudnine:

    Nice smilie, Moon. :)

I had a TV over one of my sim's bed once (with the little TV you get with NL, in case you were wondering) so that she could sit in her bed and look at TV at the same time. Worked fine only she kept turning the bloody thing on before she was going to bed! So I had to get her out of bed to turn it off and then make her go back to bed again and she had a few fits about lack of sleep during this process as well. Now THAT is what I call hard work LOL. :relieved:
