Even with rar you still have to expand it. same with winzip. In some cases you can use explore for win zip and just click the setup file from there.
If you want to convert. Then make a temp directory. Extract all from rar files to it. Then uses winzip and zip them up. If you dont have rar then you need to download it.

    regards moon.

Wait....so the Q-Express Installer automatically changes the .rar files into compatible files? I have no clue how that's done at all, but if the Q-Express automatically does it...then I've been skipping over .rar files for nothing!! I've only been using .zip files!

    Converting?

It just installs the .rar files into the game the same as .zip files.

The Qxpress has a tab called Local Install. That's the one I use all the time. I open Qxpress (stored conveniently on my desktop) and browse for a desktop folder I named New Downloads, where I've downloaded zips and/or rars. That's Step 1. Then I hit the button for Install.

Sometimes, I go into my New Downloads folder and extract a file right there, just to see what's in it. Then I can read any Readme.txt files included, in case there's something I should know. For instance, on very rare occasions, the download does not go into the EA Downloads folder. Camera hacks, for example.
