Open for Buisness tips I have a bit of a query, when I run a buisness that is set in a community lot (I.E a shop) I take my sim out there for a days work and, like any other trip the timer stops in their own home lot. (For clarification they arrive back at the exact moment they leave.) This is after 8 hours of work and therefore this 32 hour day is somewhat taxing on the sims mood bars. Am I missing something? Is there a timer that allows my sim to arrive back when they finished work. (Delaying the time of Their arrival.) If not, does anyone have any tips on how to avoid my sim being unconcious due to exhaustion by 12 noon? this is having a bit of a detrimental effect on his relationship with his missus and cats. By the by, I did carry out a search, which was less than fruitfull. Thanks, Suddie
Hi Suddie. If you buy a bed that has a really high energy score, a few hours in bed will provide a quick boost - wake the sim before the energy bar fills up completely as it's not necessary to fill it all. Alternatively, download Merola's Painting from www.simchaotics.com - I don't use it myself but many people here do, and from what I've heard it's exactly the sort of thing you need. I hope this helps.
The reason for the time being the same is so your sim can also have a job at the same time. Do what Hugz said, it works. I have my sim unemployed. He just works the shop and builds at home and the shop. As soon as he gets home I put him to sleep until the bar goes full green. Then I feed him and send him to workshop at home building servos. I give him the weekends off. It was funny the other day was a sim Saturday. I have six members of family, one being a servo. I sent them all to my toy shop and opened it for business. 4 workers who all are managers came in , and 3 customers. So i had10 controllable sims and 3 npc. And my machine didn't crash. Not even a stutter. I would not advise this for slow machines with low memory. However it was a lot of fun lol.
