    AHHH Help!!

Ok. For some reason I am not sure of, my game has gone bonkers. Nothing is the way it should be.

Now, I don't think it's because of a hack, because all my downloads are organized by file, and I took out the hack file, and the problems still arose.

And it could be because of boolprop, because I use it quite frequently.

Or it could be a random download, which I am not sure of.

I took some pictures of the events that occured, for example, Brandi Broke's entire body from the neck down turned completely black. And all the surroundings outside the lot I was playing in turned blue. And various other pictures, but only one showed up in the storytelling file. Infact, there are few pictures in that file.

    Picture^^

Now, in this picture, it is actually 2 cats. The head floating in the air is of one cat, and the body on the floor is of another cat.

    Please help!!!

LOL Looks like things are very bad indeed.

First make sure your Downloads folder is clean of hacks that might corrupt the game. Go to simwardrobe.com and download their Hack Conflict Detection Utility ... it's in the Sims 2 >> Programs section and remove all hacks that it flags up as containing bad code.

Then open up My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/ folder and delete the following files:
    Accessory.cache
    cigen.package
    ContentRegistry
    Goups.cache
If any are not there, don't worry, your game obviously hasn't found a reason to make them yet. When you relaunch the game it will remake the ones it needs ... as it needs them.

If that doesn't fix things it might be curtains fro your neighbourhood, I'm afraid :(
