When you install sims and expansions. Let the game choose the default directory. And you will have no problems. They write that in there for people who like custom directories.
Well Sims 2 Runs Fine I Just Had Trouble With Unversity And My Driver Might Need To Be Updated And I'll Buy More Ram And See If That Helps.. And I Did Just That I Uninstalled Both Of Them Then Installed Sims 2 Then On University I Left It At Default..
You would notice a big improvement with more RAM, and your graphics card is the on the bottom end of what the game needs as minimum. That said, you you can help the game by keeping houses simple and families small. Avoid the dorms at university. Because even a tiny six room dorm will typically have 8 to 10 sims in at any one time (6 residents, 1 cafeteria worker, 1 visitor/passer-by, 1 pesky cow/llama mascot ... if the mailman, and a maid show up togther and then the coach turns up to harangue some lazy sim into working out you have a 11 sims wandering around and your computer will tend to hang up for long pauses while it tries to sort out its bits and bytes. So keep it simple. Use small lot sizes, don't overfurnish, especially don't go made in the garden (and fences add to the game's complexity causing chugging on even high end machines), and keep family sizes small - maximum of 4 ... so you can still have families
Thanks Alot For The Help , When I Load The Game I Got One In The Dorms, And I Updated My Drivers Yesterday And It Seems To Work Better Even Though It Did Freeze And I Was 5 Hours Till Final Exam, But Im Going To Buy Some More Ram To Help Out.
