Dating a vampire Where's the best place to meet the local 'nightlife' ? I want some vampires to add some spice to my sims lives. If anyone could let me know that'd be brilliant.
Hah, Vampira_sim, that 'nightlife' joke made me laugh. If you go Downtown to a community lot during night time, you might get lucky and see a vampire (they all have cool names like Counts and what not :winks! Start talking to them and - if the vampire likes your sim - get bitten. Another way of getting bitten is to influence the vamp to bite you but you gotta have a fair bit of influense to be able to influence it. Good luck on finding a vamp!
Just out of interest, can a vampire sim get pregnant and have a family? I haven't had a vampire sim yet (although one of my sims has just friends with one!) so I don't really know what to expect. Rozza xx
You bet they can. However, the kids won't be vampires when they are born and children can't become vampires. So you'll have to wait 'til they're teens before they can get bitten.
Oi! You callin' me a saddo, are ya? LOL As for your werewolf question. I've never had a werewolf in my game, but if I've been told correctly (which I probably have), a wolf with glowing eyes will visit your lot at night and your sim has to play with it to get bitten and then become a werewolf. (Note that you have to have the Pets EP to get werewolves. :winks
I have a funny story behind the werewolves.. I wasn't feeling fantastic so I went to bed early and played sims for a bit, fell asleep witht he laptop on still...I wake up to my sim howling and tunring into a werewolf! I was still half asleep and I didn't have a clue what was going on and I freaked out a bit...I was actually scared for all of about 5 mins thinking omg somethings bloomin going on in my head! I'm seeing things i'm going nuts! Before I thought "oh, i've heard of this...COOL!!" and then started savaging the whole neighbourhood XD.
I've had two children born with a vampire father and in their memories its said they were bitten by their father even though they are human. Sometimes the vampires can turn up if you accept to go to a random outing.
Cool, i'll try that tonight - keep going to the crypt O nightclub an gothier green lawns but sadly no luck so far - I did try a lil experiment to see if the matchmaker lady would match my sims with a vamp if one of their turn ons was vampirism - so far unsuccesful but if it works i'll let thee know.
Vampires turn up in the strangest places. I never saw one at the Crypto Club, or the Gothier Green Lawns. I had one turn up at the bowling alley and at the downtown health club (can't recall its name.) That last experience made me laugh, because the vampire wasn't reflected in the mirrors there (I have reflections turned on.) Took a while before I actually got one cornered long enough to hold conversation and get his phone number. (Meaning, he showed up on the phone list so I could smooze.)
I was at P.U.R.E once when a vampire turned up and started taking over the dance floor. She was dancing all through the night entertaining my sims (and me) but when the sun came up there was a hiss and a puff of smoke and that (literally) batty vampire flew away. :biggrin:
