How do i bake in sims 2 OFB hi guys this is my first post here at the forums. Anyways i know this may sound newbish but i really need to know exactly how to bake cheesecakes and other pies/cakes in open for business (cause i'm opening a bakery). my sims that i want to do the baking also has full cooking skill. thankyou i really need help.
I think in ofb you need a commercial Kitchen Like in the restaurants. And as well have the cooking skills I'm not to sure how it works with bakery. However in the restaurants you use the podium to decide whats being cooked.
Click on the oven or fridge and you should get the option to 'make' and then 'make many' (I think that's what it is, I haven't done it in ages) and your sim will start making whatever you choose and each item will end up in their inventory (just like it does when you make flower arrangements or toys or robots), you take those items from the inventory and place them in the display cases that you buy for the bakery. Then just prices them like you do other items in a shop. Cass.
You need the domestic stoves for this (choose the most expensive or the product quality will suffer). You also need a fridge and obviously at least one counter. On a business premises anyone can make the food and it will be placed in the owner's inventory. Beware having more than stove, fridge on the the same premises as cooking sims will choose the most peverse combinations when cooking so that they spend more time walkning from fridge to counter to stove than you want.
