Short Story Contest Results This afternoon, I sat down and calculated the results of 5 stories considered for entry in our Member's Short Story Competition. The scores were calculated as such: Each story was graded on a scale of one to five, with no opinion given one point and best given five points. The totals were then taken, and divided by the number of votes casted to produce an average score. The average score was the scored used to determine the winners. Therefore the results are: With a score of 2.5, 5th Place Goes to Surprised By Witches' Lorelei's Gift: A Veronaville Tale In Fourth Place, with a score of 3.0, is Mirelly's Vertigo. In Third Place, with a score of 3.2, is muffin-taco's Icicles Through The Heart In Second Place, with a score of 3.6, is Vega's Star Dust. Last but not least, with a score of 4.1, is Lynet's To The Place Where I Belong. Congratulations!!
(I said this in the shoutbox earlier but I'll say it again in case you didn't see it. ) Cheers for putting up the scores, Josh. And congrats, everyone (especially to Lynet for winning first prize)! I thought it was very nice that everybody got a prize in the end. Plus, all your stories were great and I really enjoyed reading them. Lets celebrate. :champagne: :biggrins:
