Is it true? Can anyone help me out?? i'm trying to find out if sims 2 uni is avaible on DVD but i've heard rumors that it's not comming out on DVD could someone clear this up as i really want the DVD version of uni as my PC version is stuffed (crashes,won't load onto any computer) Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me out
Errr, you do know that DVD is only a medium? If you can run a DVD on youre PC then you can run a CD. That is unless Bill Gates is being *****y and money grabbing again, gonna have to get the paddle again! but seriously, as far as I know Uni is only on CD due to the small size making there no point in putting it on DVD but if you have a DVD drive you can play Cd's. (Like how youre DVD player can play music cd's.)
No there's not a DVD Uni version. Maybe you could tell us a bit about how your Uni CD is stuffed? We might be able to help you install it. Why don't you start by telling us what you mean by "it won't load on your computer" -- do you mean that it crashes when you try to install it?
when i first got my cd version of uni it started to work fine untill the 2nd time i played it then it crashed woulddent let me uninstal, get into the game and it kept freezing up my computer,i've finally gotten it off by deleting it and reforating my computer, but i have recently tried loading it and it does not work it gets stuck at 1% i've even bought a new one and that one does not work!!!!
It would be good if you sent your computer spec. It don't sound like its a cd problem more a pc problem. Aso does your sims 2 base game work well.
My base pack works and so does pets but it's only uni that does not work,but theres noneed to worry now i've bought uni for a third time and it's now working perfectly with no problems so far. Thank you to everyone who atempted to help out
