How Do I Greenhouse Roofing

Greenhouse Roofing

Hello, again...Yes, I now consider myself a Sims 2 novice! Anyway, to the problem - a week ago I could make a greenhouse easily, now I can't get it to work at all. I make the walls on a platform (doesn't work without, either for me!) then put roofing over the top of the walls, 1 story up (tried all others) and it is placed on the platform. (See below.)



Any help please?! :(

P.S: Also, another problem - when I take photographs, they automatically overwrite in the Storytelling folder, why?!

when puting roof on try going up one level. And maybe its because you have a foundation.
And i have same problem with photos, so i hope someone has a fix.

 

Concerning the pictures, each neighborhood has its own storytelling folder which is entirely different from EA Games/The Sims 2/Storytelling.

EA Games/The Sims 2/Neighborhoods/N001/Storytelling, and N002/Storytelling, etc.

Have you looked there?

With regard to the roofing, I am betting you can't use a foundation with greenhouse walls and also use a greenhouse roof. However, now I'm wondering if a regular roof will work on greenhouse walls?

Glad you found them Moon. Now, of course, I expect to see some of those pictures.

I suppose there is really no such thing as a silly question, although we do have a tendency here at Worldsims to tell new members to use the search function before posting a lot of questions.

I recall one new member who asked so MANY questions every day that she wore out everyone's patience. We kept telling her to play the game and find out stuff for herself.

However, I get stumped on simple things, too. For a long time I couldn't figure out how to use the antique camera (from the career rewards.)

Yeah, you can't put a greenhouse on a foundation because, well, there's no dirt to plant things in.

 

Well....let's say with THIS "pleasant dirt" you can.And does work...even if you'd need a garden on your rooftop
