quick exspansion help i bought family fun stuff installed it then installed pets. but i can only play the exspansion i put in the computer. if pets disk is in only pets and vice versa. is this normal? can i do anything to make it so they are both on one disk if that make sense? am on vista btw Thanks
Um ... an expansion pack is an ... expansion. It is NOT a separate game. If you install the Pet expansion then you will need to start the game with that disc ... the features of all previously installed expansions will also be available. FFS is a stuff pack with some features of an expansion. Basically it just a pile of new objects. Now you have installed Pets you don't need the FFS disc to run the game ... the stuff that FFS added to the game is still there to play. I've got everything up to Seasons but I only need use the Seasons disc ... in fact the game will only start with the Seasons disc ... if I try any other disc the game fails to start and I get an helpful error telling me I am idiot.
I would have thought that was not possible. I suggest that you uninstall the game and start over, making sure to follow all installation instructions to the letter. It might be a problem related to Vista .... :(
