run sims2 (pc) on imac?

    run sims2 (pc) on imac?

    hi, i've jsut got myself the imac and i used to have normal pc's and all my sims games are on (PC cd-rom) i would like to know if there is anyway i can run them on my imac? thanks

    Nope, they need to be released by Aspyr in some mac format.

    Actually, there is absolutely a way to run your PC Games on your iMac. You say you just got your iMac, right? Then I'm assuming it's an iMac with an Intel processor.

    If it is, you can install Apple's Boot Camp (http://www.apple.com/bootcamp/). Boot Camp is a program that allows you to dual-boot Windows XP or Vista (I prefer XP) on your Mac, so it's like having two computers in one. Boot Camp installs Windows on a separate partition of your hard drive, so you choose when the computer starts up which OS you want to use--OS X, or Windows.

    After you install Boot Camp and Windows, you can just boot into Windows and install all your games there. :D
