NPC as an 'Object'??? Hello, this is my first post; hopefully someone can help me. I am looking for a 'Bouncer' type man to use in my bar/nightclub to post by the door. I don't want him to be an active sim, but classified as a 'object.' Is there a such thing as 'objects' that are people? Also, it would be cool to have other 'object' people standing around or sitting on the bar stools. I would appreciate any help. NCFlyGirlSusan
Hi Susan To my knowledge there is no such thing as an npc object or a job for bouncers. but you could always try to hire Mrs crumplebottom. I think she would make an excellent bouncer.
Do you have the Open For Business EP? Just wondering, because if you have created a bar or nightclub with that EP you can own a nightclub and hire people. Not a bouncer, that I know of, although you might ask the question over at MTS2. However, depending on the grade of your computer, a number of customers should show up and begin ordering drinks and dancing.
Thank YOU! Thank you for your replies. I do not have Open for Bus. EP, but do have Nightlife and University. The Bar/Nightclub I built was in a residential area, and I've already thrown a successful party, and had lots of people. I figured some of you really smart Sims builders could make a 'man' as an object since there are horses, cows, ducks, etc. as objects. I'm not familiar with Mrs Crumplebottom, but I will sure check her out! Again, thank you for your post, and anyone feeling adventureous, please feel free to create a 'tuff guy bouncer' object.
