    EP's won't run - 'Wrong Version'

I need some help please with Expansion Packs.

Have installed Nightlife, Seasons and Open for Business.

When I try to run anything but Seasons I get the following error:

    Sims 2 <Name of Expansion Pack>
You are running the worng version of Sims 2. Please Run Sims 2 Seasons Instead

I HAVE installed the latest downloaded patches and looked at the EA support site which doesn't seem to have anything on this error.
Searching this forum just suggested installing the updates as far as I can see.

    What do I do now!?

    Thanks
    Neil

when you play with expansions, you have to use the last expansion disk you installed. So in your case its seasons. All the other expansions will be there.:) Only use the seasons disk.

Errr... well I installed Nightlife last!
Are you saying that you use the 'latest' expansion disk? IE Seasons was the last one to be released (of the ones that I have)

Well unless you have deluxe, you should install them in order of release. Seasons is the last release ,so seasons should have been the last installed.
If you Have deluxe then it don't matter which way you installed them. But i think you still have to use the last release disk ie Seasons.:)

    OK Thanks.
I didn't install them in the order they were released though.
I bought Seasons before Nightlife for example, but I will give it a try.

The latest EP released is what the game will use.

    Hey,
    I have a similar problem!
I've been having problems with sims and stuff so I uninstalled it. Before I uninstalled it, I had Seasons, OFB, Nightlife, Pets and Uni. So now I installed The Sims 2 again, and the same pop up comes up.
" You are running the worng version of Sims 2. Please Run Sims 2 Seasons Instead"

I'm so lost! So after that, I deleted every single sims file again.
    I'm Mac, Leopard.
