Problem with Sims 2 exchange I hope someone can help me with this. I am having a problem with the sims I download from the Sims 2 exchange on the Sims 2 website. After I install them, some of the parts do not show up in the game. For example, I downloaded and installed a fairy sim, but when I got to the create-a-sim mode and selected them, the wings didn't show up on my sim. I went to the "choose existing sim" section and they are on the pictures but won't show up on the sims I want to make when I select them [the wings] . Sorry this is kind of confusing, but I don't know how to get them to show up! If you know please help. I would appreciate it!! ~chowda~
You probably didn't get the mesh for the skins you got with the sim. Please supply the link to the sim you downloaded and I'll see if I can help.

If I find a person who created the same wings like the one in this link, would I be able to their wings with the hair and stuff from this person? Well I just looked at that person's downloads and I can't see any of the information that I normally want before I download anything. Wings obviously need a mesh and the creator is neither giving credit to the wing maker, nor claiming it fr themselves. Avoid such creations like they are a plague. Only ever download stuff (which clearly needs a mesh because it contains shapes that are not supplied in the game) which contains clear instructions concerning the mesh: such as who made it, where to get it ... or if it is included with the download). You may be better off trying the download resources of modthesims2.com
Actually, that was the site that I used to find the mesh. They said the mesh could be found on another site (which I went to) and I got it! Thank you for the help and info for not downloading items from creators who don't tell me where to get the mesh I need. I really appreciate it.
