    Screen-problem

Erhm, I'm swedish so my english isn't very good, but hopefully you will understand what I'm saying.

    Computer
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13GHz (2 CPUs)
    Memory: 2046MB RAM
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, build 2600)
Free Hard Disk Space: 15,7 GB
Total Hard Disk Space: 144 GB
    DirectX-version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
    Name: NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2
    Main Driver: nv4_disp.dll
    Version: 6.14.0010.8729 (English)
    Date: 2006-04-30 01:57:00
    Approx. Total Memory: 512.0 MB

Anyway. Today I decided to start to play the sims 2 again, something I haven't done since I had my other computer. Nothing seemed wrong until I got in to the neighbourhood I wanted to play in. The screen suddenly turned black, then turned back to normal, and then kept flashing according to how things moved: http://i18.tinypic.com/4tktf2g.jpg

The next thing I've noticed was that the mouse pointer disappeared when you got to the lower half of the screen. And when I took another screen shot it looked like this: http://i7.tinypic.com/4yi6t5j.jpg
Even though the sims window was covering the whole screen.

This game is bought in a story too so. I'm really clueless what is wrong, but maybe some of you know? :)
    Thanks in advance ~

I don't know about the first screenshot, but by the second image it looks to me that you have too many programs open. Sims 2 runs much smoother with no other programs open at the same time, so try closing them down next time before you play. hope that helps!
