Wierd lines on my screen Hello- I have recently upgraded my RAM from 512 to 2GB. I noticed right away a difference in my game. After playing it for a little while, weird colored lines appeared across my screen. Almost like a T.V when the channel is just static but colorful. I am almost positive it isn't the RAM. But if anyone has encountered this problem before i would greatly appreciate it if you could reply. - Thank you, Shannon :knockedout:
Woo. My dad's computer had that problem last year, turned out that his graphics card is faulty. I think. He changed a new one and it was fine. But it COULD be due to magnetic fields that tend to corrupt people's computer screens. In fact I'm quite sure that it's the problem - okay I'm no expert at this so I shall just quote directly. "Computer displays are particularly sensitive to interference by such (magnetic) fields because a magnetic field is used inside the display itself to create the image." I say you seek professional help - either get a new graphics card or .. check for any magnetic fields that could be causing those weird lines?
