I lost Plesantville I just started playing Sim2 and I love it. However, the second time I opened the game, Pleasantville not longer existed. What happened and how do I fix it? Also, will I lose my Sims?
Try this. Move your sims 2 folder from my documents/Ea games to the desktop, rename it to sims xxx.Or copy and paste and delete the original. Start the game.check that Pleasantveiw is there. Close the game and copy the folder on the desktop back to my documents/EA games rename it back to sims 2 .And start the game again . See if this works. If it don't, please send your computer specs.
Ouch, losing Pleasantview? That's gotta hurt... Just wanted to say that if you have no idea how to find your computer's specifications, check the FAQs and that will solve ya problem.
You can get back your Pleasantview, but I'm afraid your saved games will be gone. The pre-made Maxis sims from Pleasantview will return along with the restoration of the whole neighbourhood, though. I'm not sure how to restore neighbourhoods but I'll dig around the internet for you
