Mailbox problems!!!!! The problem is i deleted my mailbox: I deleted my mailbox because there was mail and my sims couldn't get it, so i deleted it then saved then went to neighbourhood and went back but it didnt appear again and the repo man has came so im getting quite annoyed.
There's someone with a similar problem here http://www.forums.worldsims.org/showthread.php?t=3054 I think the easiest way to solve the problem would be to move your whole family into a new lot (that has a mailbox ) .. of course, that's may not always be the best solution. But then again, if you reset all your neighbourhoods, it'll cause more heartaches. I mean you CAN restore all your saved games if you backed them up before resetting the neighbourhoods, but isn't it easier to just move the family into a new lot?
I half agree with you. maybe move them out and send the lot to the lots bin and try putting it back. Maybe then the mail box will be back. And then you can move them back. This way you do not lose a lot.
I ended up having to move them into the family bin demolishing the house and have to completly do the house again. Even though i lost all my stuff before i forgot to save the job rewards its better then having repoman in your memorys.
You can replace the lost career rewards, if those are important to you, by downloading a set of buyable career rewards from http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=157269
Or if you prefer not to download you can cheat by opening the cheat box (ctrl + shift+ C) and typing in unlockCareerRewards That is...if you have Nightlife or higher it will work.
Also, you can put stuff in your sims inventories if you have NL or above. Simply click on an object you want to keep, then stick it in your sim's invetory (found in the same place as career rewards). I understand that it's a bit too late for you to do this now but I'm saying it for other viewers and if you ever want to move a family from one lot to the other in the future.
Well i found it easy to gain the rewards i nearly have all of them, it was easy cause i took a job with them and grabbed the reward straight away then quit. I dont want paranormal because i killed of 1 person in my guys life since she was appearing in his aspiration alot when i had him dating one of the sims i made (in college) so now im afraid if i by the grim reaper phone he might revive her and she might appear in his aspirations again and i REALLY HATE THIS PERSON!!!! But his married has 2 kids so im afraid he might cheat >.< and spend more time with her.
