    Frozen Sims (sims 2 mac)

My family was happy, two parents, two children and another child was due soon. They were all in the bathroom when the baby was born. the parents were fine and they took their baby away and fed it etc. my two other sims froze. they refused to move whatever i did, they are slowly starving to death! i can move my other sims around freely, they havent even noticed.i don't understand what's happened to them!
I have tried starting from just after the baby was born and restarting the mac but my sims wont budge.

Try this, follow my directions exactly:

open the cheat box (ctrl, shift, c), type boolprop testingcheatsenabled true

Now, right click on one of the sims that is frozen. Choose force error on the list that pops up. That will bring up a box. Choose "reset" from your options. This hopefully will reset your sim and they should be controllable now. Do the same to the other sim.

open the cheat box again (ctrl, shift, c) type boolprop testingcheatsenabled false

You should be good to go after that.
