    Animal reproduction

In the spore videos i've seen, all the creatures lay eggs. From what I know of the animal kingdom here on Earth, most animals lay eggs. But some give live births, like mammals (including humans).

Will live births be seen in spore too? Or will it be entirely egg-laying?

It's not really a "birth," more of a symbol to enter the next step of evolution.

idk, there might be live birhts, if there are they will be under a bush or something interesting like that, but I bet most of them lay eggs. Well there has to be some reproduction involved, one life can't live all 8 billion years of evolution changing gradually.

I.. coulda sworn I already replied to this topic.

But.. yeah, its called proceedural reproduction. The creatures get on their little nest things and have at it.

I would presume that there would be live births, otherwise it would be a very one track system. But.. who knows.

    I thought this looked familiar...

But I would think that they'd all lay eggs, other wise the only way you'd get DNA points from animals is by killing them, which could be difficult.

Also, if the births were live then you couldn't go to the evolution thing... and if you could by clicking on the creature, that wouldn't be as good as seeing your new one hatch, I think.

Yeah, live births wouldn't really work in Spore.
