graphic problems? blurred photos... i recently installed the sims2 expansion packs (pets,nightlife....) and when i create a family, their faces that normaly apear in the picture frame are blurred. This also happens when i play them and it progressively gets worse as the screen stars to turn blue. This did not happen when i played the Sims2 without the expansion games.... can anyone help me?
Not sure why that's happening but a few questions: * Which order did you install the expansion packs? * I'm assuming these expansion packs were legally bought and not illegal downloads? * What are your system specifications? Please list them. * Did you do a search on the official Sims 2 BBS? someone else there may have had the same problem.
i installed nightlife first, then pets. I have other expansions and have tried putting them on in different orders but they all have the same effect - blurred photos. yes i bought them legally. I'm not sure how to find out my computers specifics.... but if it helps, the sims2 worked fine before we had someone wipe the computer back to its original state. Yes iv had a look on other sites aswell to see if anyone has had the same problem but i can't seem to see anything like this. Thanks for your help, i really appreciate it!
Think I have the same problem Hi this is my first post here: I think I have the same problem too, cuz everything used to work fine on my laptop till I recently had to wipe it clean back to the state it first came in. After reinstalling my S2, University, Nightlife and OFB, it could work initially except that my sims picture in the photo frame indicating the character I'm playing is blurred into grey shapes. I have no idea how to disable my APG texture though, so can someone please teach me how to do it? Also, now I can't create any new sims at all. When I try, the game will crash instead. Thanks in advance.
