God, please help me! Alrightys. Well, I'm installing the Sims 2, & i get it to about 3% in installing & this message pops up: "A problem occurred when trying to transfer the file 'TSData\Res\Sims3D\Sims08.package' from the media" & then it has Retry & Cancel buttons. I have pushed retry & it keeps popping up the same dang message. =[[[ What shall I do?
Try copying the install disc to your computer and run the installation off your computer. See if that fixes things.
Copy all the folders from the DVD disc to a brand new folder on the desktop. From there, launch the setup file inside that folder. If you are using the CD version, copy ALL FOUR discs to your hard drive.
