Growing up I have twins and when they grow up only one grows up. ive tried not saving and redoing it again and the same thing happens. How do i get both babies to grow up?
If it is baby to toddler growing up you mean, then it can be a problem. Have you tried waiting until the next day at 6pm to see if the child will grow up then? If not the safest method is download Pescado lot synchtimer. Place the unzipped package in My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\ The object needs to be bought ... it'll be in the miscellaneous part of the miscellaneous section of the buy catalog. It is very cheap, and looks like the Elixir of Life aspiration reward. Once placed, select an adult to do the "help with grow up" thing and then click on the gadget and any babies that can be grown up will be shown as an option under "grow up". Unless you want the other functions (you don't) do not click any other options and definitely not the Install button! Delete the object after you have used it and take the download out of your downloads folder. NOTE that the baby needs to be in a crib for a sim to grow the child up. It can fail if the baby is asleep ... try having a TV on in the same room ... or just repeat the order until it works. synctimer.zip (not a World Sims link) I have used this to age all my sims' babies into toddlers for more than two years.
how about buying two birthday cakes, then selecting 'bring... to cake' for each baby. If you do that for them both before six o clock, then they will be the same age
wow that's weird! never happened to me :shocked: but maybe you could try testingcheatsenabled true and then forcing an error on both of them.. or just set the other twin who won't grow up to his/her birthday it's pretty simple
OMG the exact same thing happened to me! the twins' teenage sister kept waking up in the middle of the night showing the command 'help with birthday' but as soon as she got there she just held the baby. I tried the testingcheatsenabled route but that didn't work either. I quit without saving several times to try it again. I cant remember exactly what i did in the end but i think you have to get all the sims in your family into the same room as the baby when 'help with birthday' comes up. i hope that's right anyway. Keep trying and good luck!!!
That used to happen to me all the time, I don't really know what's stopping them, but eventually they get the baby to age. What I do now though, to avoid all the getting up in the night, is just use birthday cakes!
