problem with try for baby Two of my sims are able to woohoo but arent able to try for a baby...i dont understand why, and i hope theres something i can do to fix this.... please someone reply and help! thank you Fallon
I pulled this from here: http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Babies-on-the-Sims-2 Steps Go to the DOUBLE BED (make sure it is double). Then click “relax”. Your Sim will lie down on the bed. Choose your Sims’ lover and click “ask to join”. They should be lying next to each other. Choose “cuddle”, then “try for a baby” . There will be an animation and then they’ll Woohoo. A baby sound will come and, hey presto, you’ve got a pregnant Sim! Pregnancy lasts 3 days on the Sims 2. Their belly will get bigger each day. On the last day, your Sim will rest a lot. They might lose their appetite too. But make sure the Sim doesn’t fall ill. Keep it in tip-top condition. When the promised time has come, your Sim will have one or two babies! CONGRATS!
thanks for the help! The only thing is i tried that and everything else is popping up when i click on them in bed, except for try for a baby...its really strange! any suggestions?? thanks so much
Hmmm...well, I'm no help when it comes to Gameplay Q&A, so someone might have better tips. All I can suggest is keep trying. There are a few other ways though, but it requires cheats/mods.
The only thing I can think of, is that your sims don't live on the same lot and you're trying to have a baby for your sims on the male's lot. Try moving them in together if they aren't and see if that does the trick.
The female sim has to be at home to conceive and she has to have at least four fertile days left (4 days until she turns elder).
