Sims2 /NightLife /Open for Business -> Separate Install Folder but Won't work togther

    Guys,
Am going NUTS trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. Can't find this thread in FAQ or forum, so here goes:

Have installed original Sim2 game in a folder (SIMS2) and proceeded to install NightLife and Open for Business into 2 Separate folders (NITELIFE and BUSINESS respectively) and checked as I went that the installs were clean after each iteration.

Now the Only game that will work is the last one installed -- Open For Business. The other 2 say the wrong version for Sims2 is installed. Putting the CD for the games into the CD drive and hitting the icons yield no luck.

What am I missing? Installed 3 times with the smae results.

    TIA for help

If the last one you have installed in Open For Business, then you have to use that CD from now on :)

    You done good.

Open For Business is all you need. They are not separate games. Nightlife and OFB are expansion packs. Once installed all the features of the expansion are added permanently to the installation. The game will now run off the Business installation, but the game still has access to all the contents of the other directories.

Quite worrying and just play. All will son become clear. Nightlife gave your sims "chemistry" for romancin' ... but OFB gave them business options. Thanks to your wise choice of buying both, your sims can now have both a business and a love life. ;)

Maybe they would like a pet as well ...
