Sims 2 Hello, could somebody please help me out. I just installed all of the versions ( including the expansion packs) I am having a problem once I so into the sims2 game. When I try to click on something for my character to do, the options do not stay on the screen. I will click, I will see the options but as soon as I move my mouse pointer to select the option for them to do the option disappears. Can somebody tell me what that is all about and how I can fix it. I've tried to reinstall all of the games over and over. I even just installed the sims2 just to see if it's doing it and guess what, IT IS!!! This is driving me nuts. Can someone please help me out. I would appreciate it:(
I think I remember there being a similar thread to this one before. I can't remember there being a solution to it though... All I can think of is, have you tried patching your game?
Patches come from Maxis/EA Games themselves. Basically it's them coming out with a file that will fix whatever bugs showed up in the game that they didn't discover before shipping. You can get them here: http://thesims2.ea.com/update/index.php
