yes, very true. i also agree with nina. we need more political leaders who look for a future that benifits all. education improvements would help that future. i dont mean different teaching techniques or anythin like that, i mean better funding and such. at least that is what is needed in my state, many schools have had to shut down because they couldn't pay the bill. my school is running bare minimum staff and classes. oh my here i go rambling again, i'll stop before i bore you all.
I really like that one Nina!! I always ask the stupid questions!! :whitekitty: As for education, I DO think that sometimes different approaches are good... I loved the Montessouri school I got to go to for a little while in 3rd grade...
I was at a business promoting party at a local bank one evening. They were all chatting about various things, mostly about how good they were. I (more or less casually) asked if they had noticed that birds were flying higher than ever that year and that airliners had reported seeing them at these higher levels. Everything went very quiet. Apparently quite the wrong question!
Lol Philip. Things like that has happened to me too - a lot! Fae you went to Montessori school? How interesting. There are several schools like that around here. Now they have more than just the 3 first years as well. :classic: Myself I went to a Waldorfschool. That was really controvercial at the time.
oh dear Phillip!! Your "do unto" quote makes me laugh!! Unfortunately that seems to be how a LOT of people I know really DO live their lives!! And they assume the worst because THEY would do their worst if they thought they could get away with it!! Sad... sigh. :( That's interesting about the birds... I wonder- are they trying to fly in cleaner air? Are they getting able to breathe at higher altitudes? Does this mean you won't have stormy weather, as they like to fly very LOW then? I would have started babbling away at your meeting!! I got to go to Montessouri school for about 3-4 months when we lived in Hawaii and I was about 9, almost 10 at the time. I wished I had gotten to go longer but we moved. I wanted to be a Montessouri schoolteacher for the higher grades when I started college, my goal was to get a bachelors in ANYTHING so I could go on for the Montessouri training!
I have a good saying for computer users. Never believe or trust your computer, or anyone else's. If it has done anything wrong it will have a go at you saying that it is probably your fault. I was seriously thinking about buying a game cube but you can't play in quite the same way, can you.
"It's hard to tell your mind to stop lovin sumone when your heart still does..." - unknown author But I think that we should try love anyway and not stop love. But sometimes it sure can hurt you. Without love... hmm.. I think this comes in handy: "Everyone who lives dies but not everyone who dies have lived" - also unknown author
Game cube is different from computer play, definitely!! I got to play Animal Crossing on my friend's Game Cube and I enjoyed that though. I'll keep my computer even with all the weird things it does and the weirder things that makes ME do!
Thats because, whether you fail to reallize or refuse to realize, it IS your fault!! ------------------------------------------------ why should we stop lovin them? I personally dont ever want to stop lovin someone.. ------------------------------------------------ so true, so true. ----------------------------------------------- thats pretty similar to "Treat others as you want to be treated yourself." its just in different words.
Ummm read it very carefully... it says treat others HOW THEY TREAT YOU, now how You want to be treated, and it says to do it to Them FIRST!! So it would only be similar for people who expect others to treat them NICE and they treat the other person nice FIRST before they see how the other person REALLY treats them!
