Any custom objects? - Custom objects 11) Nature of problem (more details the better) - I had a sim living in Strangetown with a zombie sim for a while now. Today I moved them to Riverblossom Hills (placed their lot, entered it, exited it, returned the family to the family bin, deleted the lot, and then moved them to the large manor at the top of the map.) On entering, both sims (zombie and non-zombie) went to examine (What's This?) a couple of lights on the building. On completing this, the zombie went on with its life (erm), the non-zombie sim started convulsing - moving slightly then returning to a standing state, over and over again. Occasionally she will raise a fist and scowl (the animation that occurs when a sim is angry with someone), but before the animation is complete she will return to the standard standing position. If I instruct her to do something she complies without any problem. But when she's completed the task she'll return to this infinite loop of almost moving somewhere then return to a standing position. She also won't make decisions (Free Will) while this is happening. I have tried these things to correct the problem - Installing all of the available patches for the Sims 2 and its expansion packss Deleting the Sim (move Object) and returning to the lot Using transportation to go to another lot Turning off custom content Entering/exiting the lot Exiting/restarting the game Edit: Moving to another lot Removing all the items from her inventory Killing and resurrecting the Sim Reseting the Sim (boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true / Force error) None of these have worked. I've uploaded a video (see below). I have searched these forums and other Sims forums to no avail. Does anyone know how to fix this glitch? Thanks in advance.
Try Pescado's ffsdebugger.zip It's a buyable object (from the miscellaneous part of the catalog) with many options for fixing things which are borked.
Thanks Mirelly. No luck with the fssdebugger, but while I was playing with it I opened the boolprop debugger and got this message - Object Error - Error: Missing neighbor for data access. I did a google search and found this website - http://forums.boolprop.com/viewtopic.php?p=466528#p466528 - which explains how to fix the problem. All working fine now Thanks for your help
My fault. I forgot to mention that some of the advanced ffsdebugger options are only available in debug mode. I always play with debug mode enabled so I sometimes forget that some options are not available to players who don't have "boolprop" on.
