Regarding this week's shows; I'm happy Syesha hasn't left yet! I'm really starting to like her. I think she's got a great voice and she's improved almost every week. I would love it if Jason goes next week...he should have gone a couple weeks ago if you ask me! And Paula Paula Paula.....tsk tsk. How can she mess up that bad. She is rather flaky and ditzy isn't she?! My predictions from here on out: David A: Winner (no my fav, but he would do better under the idol brand) David C: Runner up (my fav, but would do MUCH better on his own, hope he doesn't win for his own sake) Syesha: Third (love her, she's my second fav, she doesn't have a strong fan base...hoping Brooke's votes will go to her instead of Jason) Jason Castro: Fourth (don't like him, he has a bigger fan base than Syesha but I think Brooke's fans will vote Syesha now as they were more similar than Jason and Brooke) Syesha and Jason could easily be swapped though. There is pretty much no question that the two Davids will be the top two at this point.
LOL; I think that's a safe bet. I'm sticking with my prediction a few weeks ago; I've been right so far!

Oh I really really really hope for David Cook's sake that he doesn't win. Cook is the better all around and deserves to win, I'll give him that; if this was a show based only on talent. But for him to be bridled under the American Idol record label for 8 years would just hinder him. Archuleta IMHO isn't versatile enough to make it on his own and needs the American Idol record label to give him that head start and promote him. I can't imagine Doughty doing as well has he currently does if he had won American Idol. They seem to do best with a more pop sound than rock, r&b, or other genres. The only one who's really ever made it big under them have been Kelly Clarkson (pop) and Carrie Underwood (pop/country); the rest have crashed and failed. More stars have been made out of those who go off on their own. David C. is a rocker, let him develop on his own and he'll take off. David A. would be decent with pop/classic songs; let him win instead.
Well I was wrong! But I still cried when David Cook won. Nothing sexier than a man so overcome with joy that he cries IMHO...goodness...he can sing to me ANYDAY! (yes, Brandon knows this and just rolls his eyes at me)
I'm disappointed. Based on last night's performance, I would have wanted Archuleta to win. Cook seemed to have a really off night last night.
Okay, so Cook didn't have the best performances Tuesday night, but he'll undoubtedly do better as a performer than Archuleta. I personally think Archuleta looks so uncomfortable on stage. When Seacrest asks him a question he just smiles and giggles. It was cute at first, but would be really annoying to see in concerts. Cook was by far the best choice, IMHO.
LOL, you are completely right about that. He is very uncomfortable up there, mainly I think just overwhelmed. He is very young still. Cook was already star quality, I think Syesha is as well. Both of them will do very well. I would pay to see Cook in concert, Archuleta, probably not.
